✋ Keep the current system (15%) – "Darkness until mid-morning would be terrible! Perma-DST has already been tried, it was a failure... why is our government unable to learn these lessons from the past?

🌇 Permanent DST (44%) – "I prefer the later sunrise/sunsets, because in the morning most people are headed to work and have to stay indoors for most of the day. The later sunsets would allow me to still spend time outside and get sunlight and fresh air."

The amount of hours of sunlight in the day do not change, so maybe our mindset should change to be more active and productive earlier in the day."

• "I personally prefer the earlier sunrise/sunset but if the worry is about school children being in danger with a later sunrise because of a permanent daylight saving, it seems reasonable to just stick with standard time. The worst part is switching back and forth - there has to be some kind of solution that lets us stop dealing with this antiquated notion."

"I personally prefer more daylight in the morning because my evening plans or moods have never been affected by how much daylight is present but it has a big impact on the mornings and I've noticed my kids saying things about how dark it is in the morning recently too. They don't want to get up for school when it's dark, I don't want to get up for work, and our mornings are tougher but things still start at the same time."
