If next year’s presidential election were held today, who would you vote for?

🐘 The Republican candidate (29%) – "President Biden is weak mentally, physically, and in the eyes of our foes. In these tumultuous times, we need a strong commander-in-chief for us to maintain our status as a world leader; militarily and economically."

• "What changes more than anything based on a change in the White House? The economy and foreign policy is the answer, both big fat F’s for Biden and were Trump has excelled…"

"Democrats have been in charge the last 4 years, and the economy is in the tank, our foreign policy is a joke, and we've lost respect around the world. Time for a change."

🫏 The Democratic candidate (39%) – "Anyone but Trump and the party that put him in place. They have not demonstrated fidelity to the founding principles of this country and they continue to support mechanisms that increase socioeconomic inequality, violence, restrictions to healthcare access, and risk to pregnant mothers."

• "It is not Republican vs Democrat. Four more years of Trump in charge will result in generational setbacks to American democracy, just like his first term will echo in the Supreme Court for at least a generation."

"I would take nearly any democrat over Biden at this point, especially due to his abysmal foreign policy, but there’s just no justification to vote for the alternative. From the way I see it, Republicans are stripping away rights at every chance they get, bulldozing over the separation of church and state, and handing out tax cuts to all the wrong people and powers while they cut spending for some of the most used social safety nets we have. Americans are struggling as it is, don’t kick us while we’re down."

🟢 A third-party candidate (17%) – "Neither Biden nor Trump are the right choice. We know this now. Unfortunately, as a collective country we are not ready to make the changes necessary to effectively dismantle the ineffective institutions and replace them with proactive solutions. Ask anyone born outside of this country what the cost of an inhaler without insurance is and you'll have one of the many examples of the ineffective institutions at work. One day the world will wake up. I truly believe this."

• "Because the two parties have no interest in what is good for our country. They only care what is good for their party. I’d love to have an independent win the election. It certainly couldn’t be any worse than it is. I don’t want to live in a Democrat world anymore than I want to live in a Republican world. Plus I’m really tired of the lack of quality individuals in either party."

🔞 I’m too young/I don’t vote (7%) – "Too young to vote, but if I was able to vote I’d be voting for whichever president wants to give people the rights they deserve and protects us best."

🤷 Unsure/other (8%) – "The system is broken. Trump is a criminal and Biden is an old school out of date politician. Even a third party candidate won’t be able to solve the mess. Massive change is needed."
