If November’s presidential election were held today, who would you vote for?

🔴 The Republican candidate (27%) – "Republicans seem to do better at handling the economy and aren’t push overs to other countries. Demorats want to spend and give money away to other countries that wouldnt piss on us if we were on fire."

• "Just look at where we have gone as a country in the last four years. We as a collective have become poorer. Prices for everything essential have gone through the roof (gas, food, housing). And it's a direct result of Biden's policies. The inflation reduction act did the exact opposite of its name. Biden's stifling of American oil production, made us more dependent on countries that don't really like us. It also helps Russia finance its war."

"Biden is awful and needs to be out of office, Trump and RFK hit more of my areas of support and I believe Trump has a better chance to win than RFK (whose VP pick I don't like). Hopefully RFK pulls a lot of votes and makes it possible for a 3rd party to be seriously considered going forward"

🔵 The Democratic candidate (44%) – "Because I believe Trump is a danger to this country. He is unbalanced and unhinged and lacks the basic human decency to be the president again. He is by far the lesser of two evils."

• "For one thing, my ideals and values align closer with Democratic ideals. For another, I respect Joe Biden and believe he is a good person who genuinely wants to do good for the country--for humans. Yes, he is aging; yes, I think we have better options. But I also know that he will have his Cabinet around him, and I know the laughs that have been posted online are not typical of what he actually speaks and acts like on a regular basis. They are blown out of proportion for the sake of views and spreading hate. Finally, I think Trump is a horrible human, and if he becomes president again, we are confused about our priorities as Americans. He represents everything despicable and greedy and dishonest to me."

"It’s impossible to me that after the chaos of Trump’s term in office, plus his blatant lies, that he could be considered fit to serve in any office. His time in office was exhausting and often embarrassing. His need for retribution combined with his cruel streak should be disqualifying. I truly fear for the future of our democracy and culture as a nation should he be elected."

• "As a women with less rights to her own body and the possibility of losing even more autonomy, I cannot vote republican. Our country has issues, but to vote in favor of a party that continues to take away rights, sows discord, and has no problem lying....I just can't!"

3️⃣ A third-party candidate (14%) – "Neither are a good option and we need a clear message that neither party has or has had the American people as their priority nor are they able to execute the change and direction required."

🔞 I’m too young/I don’t vote (7%) – "I'm sixteen. If I could vote, I would vote for Biden though: Sure, he's super duper old and he makes a lot of mistakes, but Trump is just a straight-up asshole. Like, dictionary-definition asshole. I don't care if he would make a "better" president than Biden, I don't want that motherfucker representing America. (apologies for the profanity but Trump brings out the worst in me lol)"

🤷 Unsure/other (8%) – "I can not vote for either of them. And I am a true voter - never missed an election since 1990 on the local, state, or national level. It's disheartening that these two are our choices. Our nation has become so polarized and extreme, no moderate candidate, truly for the people has a chance."
