I support all major points (24%) – "I see nothing wrong with this plan. Ukraine is outmatched against Russia and they should be able to lean on allies to help defend themselves and potentially take offensive positions to bring an end to the war. Countries can't just attack other countries and not expect a military response in return. Just because one country is bigger than another doesn't mean it's ok for them to be bullying others."
I support most major points, but oppose some (22%) – "Everything in the package is defense related but point #2. Shooting long range missiles into Russia is no longer defense, it is offense. This could cause the war to escalate."
I oppose most major points, but support some (17%) – "Ukraine should not join NATO, as its potential membership has been one of the factors contributing to Russia's aggression. Historically, Ukraine and its neighboring countries were intended to serve as buffer states between NATO and Russia, maintaining a balance of power in Eastern Europe. This helped to ease tensions between the West and Russia, and any shift in this balance could further escalate regional conflicts."
I oppose all major points (19%) – "It’s been a money pit for the USA and we’ve gained nothing except a huge debt. Which I believe was actually the plan of our adversaries. We’ll end up pulling out without having accomplished anything for the USA only to have greatly increased our debt and in my opinion, greatly reduced our country’s military equipment readiness relative to weaponry inventories. Not to mention the respect lost on an international stage as an international power."
Unsure/other (18%) – "On an overarching level I don't disagree with his key points, but on the whole it strikes me more as a lofty strategic wishlist than any sort of actionable plan. Maybe the classified sections are more concrete and detailed, but I don't believe Ukraine will walk away from this war with a decisive victory. In fact, I think the West is stalling out on their willingness to support Ukraine (see Germany, Slovakia, Austria) and Ukraine knows it and worse, so does Russia. There will be a stalemate, a ceding of territory; Ukraine will not be able to join NATO under terms dictated mostly by Russia, who will not be prosecuted for the war crimes they are committing; and in five to ten years, Russia will creep its way forward again."
