Yes, maintain the status quo (25%) – "Long term peace in the middle east demands a strong Israel. Helping to maintain that strength is an imperative. Keeping terrorist regimes in check through force is necessary."
"Let's not forget: Hamas started the war with Israel and has been a bunch of cowards using Palistinians as human shields hoping to gain footing in their stated goal of totally wiping Israel out. Israel has a right to defend itself from terrorism and should receive support from the US because we've been in that same situation over 20 years ago and did the same thing. Terrorist organizations should not be able to control the narrative or outcomes when they are bringing the fight."
Yes, but add more conditions to the aid (19%) – "Hamas as a terrorist organization cannot be allowed to get away with what they did on October 7th, 2023. That said, there needs to be a recognition for a two state situation. Israel has a right to exist and so do Palestinians in their own state. The two need to learn to get along and leave each other alone. Anything we can do to facilitate this is worth it and I believe taking Hamas and any other terrorist organization who wants to control the situation with hate and violence, needs to be eliminated."
No (46%) – "As a Jewish American I am appalled by Israel’s actions in Gaza. Was their initial response to the October attack justified? Absolutely. But the humanitarian crisis they have created and continue to enforce is totally against traditional Jewish thinking and culture. As their main weapons supplier, part of the blame now falls on the U.S. we cannot pretend to be a democratic, humane country while continuing to support Israel's barbaric treatment of Gazans and Palestinians. Netanyahu keeps the war going because it’s keeping him in office and possibly out of jail. Enough is enough."
"I am sick and tired of the US always moving the "goal posts" for the Israeli government. No governing body is really holding Israel accountable for what they are doing to the Gazan people. Like it or not, the war in Gaza amounts to war crimes at this point, as alleged by the Human Rights Watch report."
Unsure/other (10%) – "I'm a non-interventionist and anti-war, but Israel as a modern country exists because of U.S. intervention. It seems morally bankrupt to abandon them."
