In your opinion, how much of their legislative agenda will Republicans be able to enact over the next two years?

The vast majority (19%) – "For the sake of our Country and its citizens, I certainly pray that the immigration and healthcare issues are addressed meaningfully and quickly. With obesity at 74%, we have to wrestle control of our food supply from the food industry, Big Pharma and obsolete Government agencies that are bought and paid for by financial interests. It has to stop!"

A good deal (38%) – "Dem's need to support much of the agenda since their constituents have begun to shift center based on the most recent popular vote stats. Even though they won, the margin is less. Failure to embrace a more center agenda themselves will put them at risk next election."

  • "I don't believe they will manage to do everything the incoming administration is seeking to accomplish due to legal obstacles that should serve as guardrails. I do have some hope that some Republicans with integrity will stand up for justice. Failing that, their majorities in Congress are thin enough that infighting will also get in their way, much as we saw throughout the last two years. Nevertheless, I fear they will still manage to accomplish far more than I want them too."

"I think they will get a good number of things accomplished even though it will be an uphill climb. I wish all politicians could look at the issues as good or bad for the country instead of who is trying to get the issue passed. It's so sad that our congress is full of children."

Not so much (28%) – "Getting co-operation from a group of people that large ( senators and congresspeople -- most of whom hate the mere idea of supporting anything the other party suggests ) is next to impossible."

  • "Democrats are more interested in social issues that are actually harmful and are like spoiled little brats who didn’t get their way in the election, and so the party of “progressives” will do whatever they can to impede the real progress that needs to be achieved for ALL of Americans. We’ll see if they actually learned anything from the failures of 12 of the last 16 years in power, or if they will completely alienate themselves from what the American people want and fade away."

A small minority (15%) – "Like the first Trump term with the Republican party in control of the Senate and the House, because of the dysfunction created by both parties, little was accomplished then, and little will be achieved now."
