Approve (37%) – "Because President Trump is putting America first with the policy that he’s instituting. The United States economy is a big ship and it’s gonna take some time to turn it and there’s gonna be some rough spots, but in the end it will be better than it has been by a longshot!"

• "I think the changes from the Trump administration are long overdue and very pro-America/American citizens. For far too long we've been letting things slide, putting the interest of other countries before our own, and letting government waste our money and resources with very little thought of the impact. I'm not surprised the approval ratings are a bit low because all of these changes can feel uncomfortable or drastic to some, but it is so needed. We can't keep doing things the way we've always done them and expect to see different results."

"The things President Trump has been implementing are difficult and challenging, but long overdue. If you have ever gone on a diet, you know how eating habits change and the pain you go through. That similar to what our government is experiencing as we get rid of a lot of extra weight and fat."

Disapprove (61%) – "I don't see how any of these changes are going to positively effect the average American in the short or the long term, and, in the long term, he is decimating our soft power around the world and our relationships with international allies, while attempting to erase American history and constantly lying. The idea of improving government efficiency is an excellent idea, but it feels more like a war against social programs that his voters don't like than meaningful cost-cutting measures."

• "About 40% of what Trump is doing is on the right track, however the trade war and being a world bully is not good. He and the republican congress do not have the average American needs in mind when making decisions. And the hatchet dismantling of federal agencies is doing much more harm than good. Ignoring judicial rulings, ignoring the constitution, and ignoring the laws of the land is only for potential dictators not for America. As a conservative this is not the extreme and radical politics I would like to have in this country."

"I am not a fan of Trump, but voted for him because my disagreements with values of the democratic nominee were too deep this election. His behavior thus far is abhorrent and not at all reflective of someone who is supposed to represent ALL of the Americans, not just the ones who voted for him."
