Very likely (16%) – "Both India and Pakistan have been at this conflict for a very long time. Nothing Trump does or tries to do will change that."
Somewhat likely (28%) – "Based on current geo-political moods and the fact that pilgrims to a holy site were targeted makes this a "hot-button" issue which required a clear indication that the atttack was "a very bad idea"."
"Kashmir will continue to be a problem between Pakistan and India so flare-ups are likely."
Somewhat unlikely (26%) – "I don't know details of everything going on in that region but it seems like these are relatively level-headed adults who are willing to talk through what a way forward looks like without resorting to bombing the life out of each others' countries. Modern-day war and devastation has been put center stage for the entire world to see with the Russia/Ukraine and Israel/Hamas situations and any leader who would CHOOSE that for their people when offered a peaceful way forward is just asking for it at this point. I also think there may be a small part in the back of each country's minds asking 'would the US back us in this war or would they back the other side?' and that is reason enough to consider peace instead of taking a gamble."
Very unlikely (17%) – "Really nothing of substance to gain from either side. They will continue the posturing game and pretend it matters."
Unsure/other (13%) – "I don't know enough about the history between India and Pakistan to say whether war is on the horizon or not."
