In your opinion, how should the US approach the Russia-Ukraine war?

Mostly or fully support Ukraine (57%) – "As 'the greatest country in the world," I think it's our duty to show support of our ally countries. Cutting off a country like Russia proves that we are not working with terroristic-like countries & their leaders. While this could potentially lead to Russia wanting to retaliate on the US, I still believe our support of the Ukraine is important."

  • "If Ukraine falls then other countries will be invaded by Russia next. This will lead to NATO having to fight Russia which could lead to World War Three and possibly the end of the world as we know it."

"Russa is the aggressor in this war and has the power to end it today if it wanted to. The world is too small to just sit back and let bigger countries gobble up smaller ones because they want to exploit their resources. It is better to stand up for what is right now, rather than to wait until there are only 5 or 6 total countries in the world and then it is too late to do the right thing."

  • "Russia is an aggressor state. That type of nonsense should have ended long ago and an example needs to be set. If not, expect China and many others to start making moves."

"US owes it to Ukraine according to Budapest memorandum. Not holding russia accountable for the war crimes it’s committed against Ukraine sets a precedent in which no war-ending memorandums can confidently be signed by Ukrainian side."

Try to reach a middle ground peace deal (18%) – "It's not our war. Our role is to try and foster world peace where possible, especially when it threatens us. I do not agree with the amount of money and arms we were supplying Ukraine with in what is essentially an unwinnable war. Besides being a colossal waste of money, it's responsible for more citizen casualties than anything else."

  • "If someone doesn't help foster a peace deal, neither side will until they have crushed the opponent. That leads to desperate time and desperate actions. If the U S doesn't try to foster that deal, who will? The line of helpful nations does not appear to be long or strong. This is the only viable action that has the potential of not ending in war ourselves."

Mostly or fully support Russia (5%) – "To prevent a possible World War III, the US should tread carefully with respect to Moscow and avoid antagonizing Putin."

Stay out of it entirely (9%) – "We have already invested too much time, energy, and money on other countries' wars and social issues. We have too many domestic situations that require the attention of our lawmakers and people in a position of power. We need to take care of our own and only become involved as a measure to protect our nation in any way that may be at threat."

Other (5%) – "Tariffs only hurt Americans. Either fully support Ukrainian interests or get out of the way let a Europe government take over negotiations"

Unsure (6%) – "US support for Ukraine doesn't appear to be working when looking back at recent years. But I don't feel comfortable escalating US involvement in the conflict—nor do I like abandoning Ukraine to Russia's attack."
