In general, do you agree with the federal government’s conclusions regarding the Jeffrey Epstein situation?

Yes (17%) – "I didn't believe, originally, that Epstein killed himself; it was a perfect storm of events that, if a list existed, perfectly protected powerful individuals. But it was also a perfect storm of reasons for someone to commit suicide on his own recognizance. This administration would have benefited both in the eyes of their most radical constituents - a small but incredibly vocal minority who drove a lot of popular support - and in the moderate vote - shockingly, people don't like being lied to - if they could show that Epstein was murdered and the previous administration covered it up. To folks who think the administration isn't releasing the information because too many of their own donors or members are in the crosshairs, why would they not just...remove them and publish? For these reasons, I now believe Epstein did commit suicide."

  • "As a law enforcement records technician, I believe what they are telling you is correct, and legally binding. Dragging this out further serves no useful public purpose."

No (70%) – "Attorney General Pam Bondi previously said she had the Epstein on her desk and the details would be released. But now all of a sudden after a six year investigation there is no list? What, did they spend six years looking for it and it was never found? It makes no sense. It is an obvious coverup."

  • "This is all a cover up. There has been too much evidence that there is a client list, some names were already released... just goes to show deep pockets can make anything go away."

"I trust government officials and Congress ALMOST as much as I trust the Mafia. Much like the Kennedy assassination information, lies seem to be better to to liars than the political disruption and loss of power from the famous 'hangings' if they publish the truth. We need to get back to truth and integrity, in government and the media. Generally speaking, they are untrustworthy and liars all with only their own interests at the fore, with few exceptions."

  • "There have been too many variations to the story. "Nothing to see here" isn't going to make the controversy go away. Only transparency and a whole lot of sunlight will settle this once and for all. Hopefully we don't have to wait 50 years to find out the whole truth."

"The idiom "where there's smoke, there's fire," applies to the Epstein case. If it's confirmed that there are over 10k images of child pornography, certainly there are others than Epstein implicated and given Trump's close friendship with him over the years, there's significant doubt that he's not covering up his own complicity."

  • "If I was being accused of being a pedophile and a criminal I would DEMAND any and all documents and resources to be released to the public proving my innocence.... unless I was in them. This SCREAMS cover up."

"President Clinton showed he had a thing for young girls. Ask Monica. Prince Andrew was photographed with one of the young ladies and lied about knowing her. Money and power will relieve you of any guilt. Pay for the sex then pay to keep it quiet."

Unsure/other (13%) – "At this point, who knows. I don't think there's some big coverup going on because if Trump knew he and other high-ranking world officials were on a list somewhere AND had something to hide, he wouldn't have talked so much about sharing it...but there wasn't nothing going on and it's safe to say we'll never know the full truth about anything around Epstein."
