In general, how do you feel about GOP lawmakers’ push to approve a series of new crypto-related bills in Congress?

Support (21%) – "I'm primarily interested in the digital currency ban. If adopted, a Fed-based digital dollar would create the largest government intrusion into personal financial transactions in history and allow for persecution on a global level. No government should have that kind of power over free citizens. Let your congressional representatives know how you feel on this issue before it's too late."

• "The legislation is good for the American people on the whole. Who cares if Trump and his family makes money off it."

Oppose (55%) – "I don't care which party is pushing the adoption of crypto. I feel like an old man yelling at the clouds, but I am not investing in crypto. I don't understand the valuation methods, the infrastructure, the markets, the jurisdictional authorities...I'm not putting my money in a tool where I can't explain to myself and others all of the above. Also, at this point, when a Tech Bro pushes it on his podcast, I feel like I'm pretty safe staying away."

Unsure/other (24%) – "I agree that crypto needs to be regulated quickly. it's part of the reason why crypto innovation has left the US for the UK and NZ. however, I do also believe Trump & any other elected officials should divest of digital assets before the bills become law. It should be treated the same as stocks. while I don't agree with the "no Fed backing" legislation, the other two make solid sense and are necessary in order to give crypto bros guidance."
