"If a new voice rises, it is silenced, ignored, and ostracized. It's really easy to see why the party is losing favor when they won't allow new voices to raise within the ranks. Even if those voices are extreme, their existence can encourage other new voices to raise as well. Instead we get nothing from the Democratic party other than cosplay politics. They only pretend to listen. They still will not listen on the most obviously bad position they have right now. What hope is there that they would listen to the less obvious ones."
"I believe there are several factors that have caused the decline. The democrat party has been aggressively pushing far left policy that most people find ridiculous or even dangerous. I also feel their stances during COVID hurt them severely, as well as the blatant suppression, censorship and lying about anything conservative. The attempt to destroy Trump through any means possible is another big problem. It has shown the American people how corrupt and intertwined our government is. When democrat ideas are questioned the name calling begins. Most likely the person isn't some sort of "ist", they just don't agree with the policy. Last but not least is the desire of the democrats to make America more European. Americans have an embedded, fierce sense of freedom and self reliance. Its in our DNA. We have no desire to be like Europe and reject people that try and make it so. America is great because we chose a different path for our government and our people."
"The Democratic leaders are preachy, pedantic and pretentious. They continually criticize nearly everything without providing reasonable alternatives. The deception surrounding the Biden presidency was the final catastrophic stroke."
"I think that one of the main declines in support for Democratic Party is driven by replacement theory and is resulting in the huge backlash to DEI and immigration. People fear that minorities and immigrants are coming for their jobs, spaces at universities, etc., and that is leading to support Republicans who they feel are protecting their rights to a job, a spot at the university, etc. Before the election, I was talking with our landscaper, whose dad was a Mexican immigrant himself, and he said that was going to vote for Donald Trump because the new immigrants are coming after his job. That conversation really changed my perspective on how people feel right now, even people who once benefitted from our immigration system, don’t want others to have the same benefits if it might affect them."
