How do you feel about the 20-point peace plan under consideration by Israel and Hamas?

Support (62%) – "I feel the Palestinians need to have a homeland and a government. This provides that for them. I feel Israel needs to feel safe without the threat of Hamas. This also provides that"

"A peace agreement has been available to the Palestinians since the October 7th attack if the Palestinians would release the hostages they were and are still holding and disarm. There will be peace in the middle east when the Palestinians love their children more than they hate Jews."

Unsure/other (29%) – "I feel if this plan goes into play it will set up a future of more suppression for the Palestinians since they will practically be controlled by Israel with no way to oppose what happens to them. The plan seems great on the surface but after thinking about it the peace plan would only create more issues in the long run. As far as my opinion, I believe it should be enacted simply to end the killing of innocents but hope Israel and Hamas can tune the plan so Palestinians aren’t helpless under Israel."

• "I'd love for this conflict to end, but Hamas just celebrated October 7 (the day of rapes, murder, and cruelty) as a glorious day. Hamas has also, despite part of the proposal stating they must disband, indicated they intend to stay in power. Israel would be agreeing to a "peace" that leaves them in the same position as before, with a ravenous, murderous neighbor on their border, one bound primarily by "I promise, bro." And on the flipside, the Palestinians remain without a state and at the whims of an Israeli government that has demonstrated its willingness to kill civilians to achieve some level of safety, even if it didn't work. But I don't live there and I'm not one of those 20 hostages left alive, or a member of their families, so I can't really say anything."
