Support (20%) – "I don’t think that Ukraine is guiltless in any of this, though of course, Russia was more of an aggressor. But the way the US painted Zelenskyy as some hero was also a farce. Anything that stops the killing of hundreds and thousands of men, women, and children is a win in my book."

• "We've known Ukraine to have been corrupt since before Obama. Now that it's come to light publicly, let's end this stupidity of a war once and for all. Let to guilty parties be properly prosecuted and be done with it."

Oppose (67%) – "This peace deal would legitimize Russia's attack and directly block and independent nation from pursing their interests (NATO). It would surrender territory belonging to Ukraine to Russia, without the input of the Ukrainians who actually live there. Why are we created a peace deal that hearkens back to the 1919 Treaty of Versailles?"

• "As proposed, the plan rewards Russia for invading a sovereign country with very limited concessions from Russia other than a promise not to invade Ukraine or other European countries. As Russia's promises are rarely kept, in essence, Russia gains much and loses nothing for their invasion while Ukraine loses territory and a future ability to defend itself."

"This continues to reaffirm that Russia has all the power and can control any narrative they would like across Europe. They stand to lose absolutely nothing and continue to gain after the merciless and callous murders of thousands of people. The Russian government should be held liable for the hundreds of war crimes they have committed after multiple agreements to peace. If Russia plans to abide by an agreement, why would it be concerned about the size of a Ukrainian military or be in opposition to an international peace-keeping group? Ukraine has never demonstrated any imperialistic actions that would suggest it would ever attack Russia. "For one, Russia can't be trusted not to attack again. Secondly, this peace plan only rewards Russia for its aggression in the first place, they give up absolutely nothing! It's absurd. If the US truly pushes for this plan, Ukraine should 100% disregard them, and US will go down in history and the superpower that caved to the bully. My hope in the US will be forever lost."

Unsure/other (13%) – "Russia’s attack on Ukraine was driven by its desire of the Dobras Region and all the rich minerals and wealth of the region, which Russia needs due to the economic crisis they are in. Trump similarly has an interest in minerals for AI and his tech partners, which is why I am not surprised that he is taking a key role with this (and also the desire to receive a Noble Peace Prize). My son’s best friend at college is a Ukrainian refugee and to hear his friend talk about the suffering his family and his people have had to endure is heart wrenching. To understand the real desire behind this makes you really question our humanity."
