Has AI usage made your overall workload easier or harder to manage?

Easier (49%) – "I work on a fairly technical team, in a very specialized field. If i have questions or encounter an issue i cannot immpdiately resolve, there is no one in my company to request assistance. AI has been a savior more often than not. The transcripts recorded during meetings has been extremely helpful."

  • "I use Chat GPT more like an admin assistant, since I don’t have one, and also to help clean up all of my writing, including emails. For more AI is beneficial, but I do worry how it will evolve if guardrails aren't put in place."

"As a corporate trainer, I love that my company provides AI resources for us. It is so much easier to create content, come up with engaging activities, and it's a helpful tool to pull me out of a rut when I feel like I'm stuck on something. It helps me spend my time where the human factor is much more important, which is in coaching and developing employees. I also love that we are able to focus on the topics that matter instead of spending an afternoon on how not to be a jerk in an email - just put it through AI!"

  • "AI has helped me consolidate my tedious tasks and free up time for more strategic work."

Harder (22%) – "AI has brought so many efficiencies to my day, however, it also has brought up more stress. Learning the new tools, the right agents to use and editing/reformatting responses from AI can get stressful."

  • "AI technology can be fantastic but just ask anyone who’s used it each time you ask a question or do a report or a summary it completes the task but ask you three more questions on top of it. It’s like going down a rabbit hole."

About the same (29%) – "I'm in IT management. AI has helped produce drafts (of anything) faster and allows for quick iteration. But the time spent on the tasks each day has not reduced. I find more items hitting my inbox that needs attention - good thing I got through the proposal a little faster. I am not yet able to delegate things to AI like "schedule a meeting in the next week with these individuals..." and the AI actually do that administrative task. It may tell me it did, but nothing is on anyone's calendar. It's coming and maybe then my day will be super charged."

  • "It's still hard to trust that the AI doesn't miss something due to not being able to truly understand the scope of what is needed."

"My primary role is designer and the AI tools available in that space aren’t as applicable to my products. So I primarily use them in other aspects of my work (documentation, analysis), which they have largely helped with. I find in able to self serve a lot more now than before and that feels more productive, even if what I’m doing is new to me. It’s definitely expanding my role and potential responsibilities."
