"Unfortunately a ceasefire won’t last long.Trump is too volatile and the moment it appears that he won’t get exactly what he wants he will resume the bombing. Trump’s misguided idea of a negotiation is only getting everything he wants, he doesn’t know how to compromise, or is unwilling to. Neither Iran or POTUS are trustworthy at keeping their word as they both have already demonstrated."
"Clearly, TACO Tuesday - he had dismissed those same demands ahead of his tirade on his social media platform but then suddenly is willing to accept them? Hopefully, someone just talked some common sense into him so he backed down. While I don't blame the Iranian government for some of those demands, I don't think we're done negotiating. There should be a time limit on the charges through the waterway or we're all going to feel the pain of this fiasco indefinitely. I also don't think Israel is going to back down off Hezbollah. There is too much bad blood across that whole region for this peace to last for long - we just need to stay out of it. The US needs to mind its own business and let them sort it out. Let's spend our money in our own country for a change."
"There never should have been this war. There was no reason to go in, as there was no imminent threat, hundreds of people have been killed, if not more, Trump threatens war crimes and genocide, and business leaders who can profit off of war have gotten richer while the overwhelming majority of the US population lives paycheck to paycheck or has to choose between feeding their kids or giving them a place to live."
"Distract, divide, and destroy. This is Mr. Trump's modus operandi. (Yes, Mr. He is not mentally fit to be called President) This is more like a time-out for the time being. We will see ourselves going down the same road in two weeks' time. This will give the U.S. and Iran time to rebuild their stockpile of drones and missiles to be used in future actions. In the meantime, we should monitor the number of refueling aircraft continuously departing Tel Aviv and heading over Iraq and Syria to the Persian Gulf for refueling. For now, based on the maritime information, many of the tankers and container ships have gotten underway to leave the Gulf and pass through Hormuz to reach open waters. It will be interesting to see how many if any, ships will proceed through the Strait of Hormuz to proceed north to the oil terminals to take on their loads of oil and LNG. With any kind of luck at all, this will also give our Congress a chance to step up to the plate and do what needs to be done before we travel down this road once again."
