In your opinion, what will control of Congress look like following the November midterms?

GOP-led House and Senate (17%) – "The DEMS or DSA as they are being called, are too idealistic and more concerned with illegals than they are of their own citizens."

  • "The Democrats don't have any clearly defined platform they're running on, and haven't made it clear how they'll help everyday Americans. They aren't convincing enough to make people vote for them."

Democrat-led House and Senate (48%) – "I think the democrats will take the house and senate, as normally happens in midterm elections. I don't vote democrat, but I also don't mind the balance of power."

  • "I guess more of a wish from a life long Republican who sees this as the only way out of the huge mess Trump has created for the United States and the world."

"Ordinary people are motivated to vote against the chaos we have seen over the last two years, so I think Democrats will get the votes they need to retake the House and Senate. The wild card is federal interference with state elections before, during, and after election day when the outcome is not to the liking of the administration."

  • "As I look at the news and the polls I think the Democrats are a lock to take the house and Republicans know it, from what many of them are saying. The Senate is, of course, a somewhat different story. However, as the election gets closer, I see trump's behavior getting truly bizarre. Tigers attacking humans, grandiose images of himself as a godlike being. All this, and a lot more, while the war rages on, ships are sunk, threats of a public execution are made, inflation goes up, and all trump seems to care about is placing his name where it doesn't belong and ignoring the problems of the people he made promises to that and makes no moves to fix those issues. As a result, of this behavior, the Senate may be lost as well."

Democrat-led House, GOP-led Senate (24%) – "The Democrats might win the senate too, but that's a taller order. Either way, hopefully the Republicans get the message that the current policies are not the policies the people want."

  • "The logistics related to seats up for election and redistricting maps means that Republicans have a bigger built-in advantage for keeping the Senate as opposed to the House. I think the 'blue wave' will come for the House, but fall a bit short in the Senate."

GOP-led House, Democrat-led Senate (11%) – "I think Dems have some iffy House candidates, especially when it comes to DSA membership and support of policies, while the GOP has some poor Senate candidates like Ken Paxton in Texas."
