0-3 months (7%) – "The D retake of the house will make it necessary to conclude the fighting and spin the results."
3-6 months (5%) – "It will probably take a little bit of time, but the Democratic blue wave will likely curb Trump's Iran war powers and bring a halt to the fighting."
6-12 months (17%) – "If the Democrats win the midterms, pressure on Trump will demand that the Iran war be drawn down. This will take close to a year to complete is my guess."
At least 1 year (71%) – "Because you can’t resolve this conflict with this on and off fighting. You either leave it to the current state or you go all in. The President is dragging his feet for some reason or another."
"I feel like the US won't back off from what they've started whereas the Iranians won't stop until they get what they want. Neither side will compromise and I feel as if this will be an endless cycles for many years. Hopefully I will be proven incorrect though."
"Iran has no reason to settle this war with the current administration. They know the current administration's game plan and situation. If for some miracle a peace deal is reached, it will be business as usual or more beneficial for Iran. There will be no great deal as Trump and company has played all their cards, except for one, nuclear, and lost. Trump and comapny just don't know they have lost."
"I would like to believe that this war will not last another day. But with the current US administration, with its lack of strategic or operational insight, does not have any higher thinking about the conflict. It is, rightfully, deeply unpopular here in the US and is basically an illegal war. And Iran? The unholy alliance of the Revolutionary Guards and the theocracy that runs the civil state are extremely unpopular in Iran ( and are vicious thugs to boot) are fighting for their existence..... regardless of its effects on the people. One would think that there's a way to end this conflict.... but there doesn't seem to be a way to draw the curtains on a multitude of horrible decisions, made without thinking or planning, misunderstanding by both parties to the war as to what the actual end looks like...."
