Several of Reddit’s biggest communities (aka subreddits) announced yesterday that they will be going dark for two days beginning on June 12 to protest the platform’s new API pricing. The subreddits, which reach over 300 million Reddit users, say the new pricing model will put many of the third-party apps that moderators rely on out of business.
