🌏 Ugly lawns... but for a good cause

👆 Kathleen Murray from Sandford in Tasmania, Australia, recently took home the international prize for World's Ugliest Lawn. 

🚫🪴 You read that right... The Ugliest Lawn Competition was founded by Gotland, an island in Sweden, in partnership with actress and environmentalist Shailene Woodley. The goal? Encourage people to use less water for their lawns. 

• “I am terribly proud!" Kathleen said of her win. "I knew I would have my 5 minutes of fame; even if it was for having the ugliest lawn on the planet! I am now liberated of ever mowing my lawn again.”
