… and so ends the one-year stint of the now-former CEO of CNN, Chris Licht.

• The move – which comes on the heels of an unflattering profile from The Atlantic – caps off what has been a tumultuous year for the cable news network. Among other things, Licht's tenure has included firing two of its top anchors, Don Lemon and Brian Stelter, the resignation of Licht’s predecessor, Jeff Zucker, and the shuttering of the channel’s streaming platform, CNN+.
