According to UCLA’s newly-published annual Teens and Screens report, which covers US residents between the ages of 13 and 24, many younger Americans are looking for fewer sex scenes on TV and in movies. Researchers found nearly half of US adolescents and young adults (47.5%) think sex isn’t necessary to the majority of TV show and movie plots, and 51.5% would like to see more content depicting friendships and platonic relationships.
