👆 Welcome to New Ground, an all-female co-housing community founded a decade ago by 26 women between the ages of 50 and 80. Together, they transformed a former convent school into 25 private apartments, each equipped with its own kitchen and accessible “wet room” bathroom, all connected by shared hallways and common spaces. Residents share communal meals, a recreation room, and a garden. But above all, they’ve built something harder to find: built-in friends for life.
