Approve (21%) – "Pretty simple. Trump stopped the flow of immigrants illegally entering the country and he prevented the largest tax increase on the American taxpayers in my lifetime. Most people don’t recognize that the average household would be paying several thousand dollars more in income taxes every year if Trump hadn’t got the OBBB passed."

• "The war needed to be done. Now, smart people need to get it finished to get the change in behavior to make Iran behave like a normal country in the world. No more terror. Our economy will heal. Americans need to understand a longer term view of history. Stuff that is important doesn’t happen within the span of a TikTok video. Go back to work, earn your living honestly and live within your means. The president did good things and he also doesn’t need to try to fix everything. I’m a little tired of the nonstop news cycle. But if we don’t finish the job we will have done it for nothing."

Disapprove (73%) – "All his policies are creating hardship on most American families resulting in higher cost on food & gas. His bypassing Congress regarding the Iranian war and tariffs are divisive and potentially illegal."

• "I thought that Trump would put America first, but I still see high interest rates, high inflation and a foreign war that no one (but Israel) wanted. He had one job- improve the economy to help the middle- and working-class citizens' lives better."

"There are so many ways this administration has been thoroughly mismanaged that it's hard to know where to start. He has kept zero of the promises he made during the campaign. He has chosen, as Cabinet members and senior advisors people so unfit for their positions as to beggar the imagination. His tax policies have led to almost no economic growth and a spiralling federal deficit. He has actively conspired to silence the press and supress the vote. Despite promising "no new wars" he has pursued, in a most incompetent fashion, an illegal war in the Mideast with Iran. He has let a paramilitary force, ICE and Homeland Security, to occupy cities and towns, rounding up people and incarcerating them in prisons and camps much like the Nazis did in Germany and Europe from 1933-1945. He cavorts with some of the most vicious and authoritarian regimes in the world while verbally and economically attacking our allies. He is the most unfit person to have ever been in the office...."

"Trump will go down in history as one of the great failures of our presidents. The only one who I would rank below him is Buchanan, and only because his administration couldn’t prevent the civil war. Although with the hatred that is being displayed toward those in the other party, we are getting close. No major legislation passed, a retreat from the world stage, cozying up to dictators. I could go on and on."

"The cost of living has done nothing but increase, inflation has increased, tariffs have increased, but programs to help the People have decreased. The war is an unwinable disaster. This president has spent untold millions and billions of taxpayer dollars on vanity projects to glorify himself while cutting tax breaks on things for the People like healthcare tax breaks and SNAP. He has alienated our allies and neighbors. The ultra-rich are getting richer and the lower and middle class continue to struggle to make ends meet. The president and his family have enriched themselves by manipulating the stock market, accepting money for positions of power, and making back-door deals with foreign governments. Meanwhile, the National Parks which belong to the People are being stripped of land to sell to highest bidder. ICE and CBP continue to terrorize our friends and neighbors, and concentration camps are raking in money while the prisoners are being treated inhumanely and abused, with no medical care and inedible food. Families are being separated. Our country must make changes and fast to even have a chance of saving it."

Unsure/other (6%) – "The Iran "War" and tariffs have been a disaster. But when you zoom out and see how he's shoring up the Western Hemisphere against China/Russia, this will have long-lasting positive impact for generations to come. It's a toss-up really."
